@folkert hobma: Yes, this is by design - since iOS has account colors, the same color is now used on Mac.
@Canary Mail: What? Why would this be designed behavior? I don't even use the iOS version, but the images I had were much nicer than a color palette that clashes with the red of the email count. Please revert. It was much easier to tell my accounts apart before.
@Canary Mail: should use both icons and colors. All happy.
I think it is a real decay to drop the picture logos!! Now I have to learn the colors or hoover the mouse on a colored dot to find out which email-account it represents. Not good.
I dont use IOS for business email so i am not interested in their design account colors.
Hi! Can you please send us screenshots of this. Thank you.
@Laiza: same here. I don't use the IOS version but pictures are much better to distinguish then just colours.
Hi there just updated to 367. Now I can't see any profile pictures anymore, only coloured circles.
I agree, this is a terrible change. I have 7 email accounts and there is no way I can effectively distinguish between them using colors only.
I have nice icons representing each of my accounts and this would really be a deal breaker for me. I might have to move to another email client, even though I truly love Canary.
I am not saying this as a threat. Instead I simply want you to understand how severe of a change this is.
I too find this bad enough to switch email clients if it's not rectified. Thankfully I haven't updated my main workstation. And I won't until this is fixed.
+1 for revoking this change. Thanks!
Hurray, this has been reversed in 368. Thank you canary team!
You're the best!! Thanks Canary Team!!
Thanx!! you guys are responsive and fast ;-)
